Deadline for nominations: April 21, 2016

The applicant must submit a letter requesting consideration for membership on the NANC Working Group to the NANC Designation Federal Officer, via e-mail to marilyn.jones@fcc.gov, with a courtesy copy of the request to Carmell Weathers via e-mail to carmell.weathers@fcc.gov; and Betty Ann Kane, the NANC Chair, via e-mail to BAKane@psc.dc.gov.

  • The letter should include nominations for a primary member and an alternate member, and provide confirmation that the nominees are authorized by the organization to represent it on the Council.  The letter should also include the following information:
  • Name, title, and organization of the nominees and a description of the organization and interests the nominees will represent;
  • Nominees' postal mailing address, e-mail address, telephone number, and facsimile number (if the mailing address is not acceptable for public announcement, please include another address suitable for publication);
  • The Working Group that the applicant is being nominated for membership.  A statement summarizing the nominees' qualifications and reasons that the nominees should be appointed to the working group;  A statement indicating the willingness of the applicants to actively participate in good faith; and 
  • A statement confirming that the applicants are not registered federal lobbyists.
