ARMIS Transition Date Public Notice

Wireline Competition Bureau announces that the date on which ARMIS filings will transition from the Electronic ARMIS Filing System (EAFS) to the Electronic Comment Filing System (ECFS) and when pole attachment data is to be filed in CC Docket Number 86-182 is January 1, 2015. As of this date, all ARMIS reports, including resubmissions, must be filed in CC Docket No. 86-182 using ECFS. In addition, effective January 1, 2015, carriers required to file pole attachment data formerly contained in ARMIS Report 43-01, Table III, as a condition of forbearance must file their pole attachment data in CC Docket No. 86-182 using ECFS. In this Order, the Bureau revised certain aspects of the electronic filing procedures for ARMIS reports to comply with the Commission's cyber security policies. To ensure the security of the Commission's electronic filing systems and data network, we will be disabling the Electronic ARMIS Filing System (EAFS) submission capabilities, and modifying ARMIS electronic filing procedures to require electronic submission using the Commission's Electronic Comment Filing System (ECFS) rather than EAFS. WCB will release a public notice announcing the transition date to ECFS, which will be prior to the next annual filing on April 1, 2015.
