Background

On September 18, 2000, Fox Television Stations, Inc. ("Fox Television Stations") and Chris-Craft Industries, Inc. ("Chris-Craft") filed applications seeking Commission consent to the transfer of control of Chris-Craft's licenses and authorizations to Fox Television Stations. On September 27, 2000, the Mass Media Bureau issued a Broadcast Actions Public Notice (Broadcast Applications, Report No. 24828) announcing that the applications had been accepted for filing and establishing a pleading cycle to permit interested parties an opportunity to comment on the proposed transaction.
