Therefore, I oppose any government(including the United States government or any of the local or state governments under its jurisdiction) having additional power to surveil people. I believe any protection that VoIP phone service provides against the Patriot Act is positive because I believe that the Patriot Act violates the 4th Amendment to the United States Constitution and can be abused to monitor and track dissidents.So I believe that requiring VoIP providers to provide information on their customers is negative and even dangerous. ------------------------------------------------------------
