Otherwise I think there should be no fees whatsoever, and that included regular phone services. The FCC has been long a waste of the taxpayers money. I am hoping the FCC becomes smaller and the fees become less outrageous. I get charged 34$ for a phone that would cost 20$ or less before the FCC Charges. These charges are ridiculous. If you multiply this number by all of the phone users out there it adds up to billions of dollars a year. I am asking where is all the money going? The system has been in place for over 20-50 years, But billions of dollars are being sunk into this even today where much of what was needed is already done. Taking money from people so people can have a luxery is a form of piracy. Yes, a phone is a luxury. its not something absolutely necessary to survive. The only items needed to survive are food, water, and shelter. People work hard for what get. I am currently payi! ng off student loans, paying off a car, etc. I am supposedly "rich" or "upper middle class", yet after the bare necessities and major bills I am lucky to have 80$ for 2 weeks to pay for entertainment and food. ------------------------------------------------------------
