Jessica J. Gonzalez, National Hispanic Media Coalition

Jessica J. Gonzalez serves as Policy Counsel to the National Hispanic Media Coalition (NHMC), a non-profit organization whose mission is to improve the image of American Latinos as portrayed by the media, increase the number of American Latinos employed in all facets of the media industry, and advocate for media and telecommunication policies that benefit the Latino community. Before joining NHMC, Ms. Gonzalez was a staff attorney and clinical teaching fellow at Georgetown Law's Institute for Public Representation where she represented non-profit organizations before the Federal Communications Commission, the National Telecommunications and Information Administration and in the Courts of Appeal. While in law school Ms. Gonzalez was a law clerk at the Media Access Project. She is a LLM degree candidate at Georgetown Law, earned a JD at Southwestern Law School and a BA from Loyola Marymount University. In her spare time she acts as co-chair of the Federal Communications Bar Association's Diversity Committee.
