FCC RESCINDS PUBLIC NOTICE DA 00-407 


The Office of the Managing Director rescinds Public Notice DA 00-407 released on March 16, 2000 entitled, 
"Office of the Managing Director Implements the FCC Registration Number (FRN) and Commission Registration System 
(CORES) Registration Process Effective March 27, 2000".  Our action today delays the implementation of the FCC 
Registration Number (FRN) and the Commission Registration System (CORES) and suspends the March 27, 2000 
effective date until further notice.  The FCC will shortly issue a Public Notice clarifying certain issues about the new 
program and providing a new effective date for implementation. If you have any questions concerning this matter please
