ORDER OF DISMISSAL

By the Deputy Chief, Market Disputes Resolution Division, Enforcement Bureau:
1. On August 16, 2016, AT&T Corp. (AT&T) filed a complaint against Great Lakes Communications Corp. (GLCC) Formal Complaint of AT&T Corp., Proceeding Number 16-170, Bureau ID Number EB-16-MD-001 (filed Aug. 16, 2016) (Complaint).
under Section 208 of the Communications Act of 1934, as amended (Act). 47 U.S.C. 208.
2. On July 31, 2019, AT&T and GLCC filed a Joint Motion to Dismiss Formal Complaint with Prejudice. Joint Motion to Dismiss Formal Complaint with Prejudice, Proceeding Number 16-70, Bureau ID Number EB-16-MD-001 (filed July 31, 2019) (Motion).
In the Motion, the parties assert that they have formally settled the disputes giving rise to the Formal Complaint and have agreed to seek dismissal of the Formal Complaint as to all claims and defenses asserted therein, in order to dispose of all issues and controversies in the Formal Complaint. Motion at 1.
3. We are satisfied that granting the Motion will serve the public interest by promoting the private resolution of disputes and by eliminating the need for further expenditure of time and resources by the parties and the Commission.
4. Accordingly, IT IS ORDERED, pursuant to sections 4(i), 4(j), and 208 of the Act, 47 U.S.C. 154(i), 154(j), and 208, and the authority delegated in sections 0.111, 0.311, and 1.7201.740 of the Commissions rules, 47 CFR 0.111, 0.311, and 1.7201.740, that the Motion is GRANTED.
5. IT IS FURTHER ORDERED, pursuant to sections 4(i), 4(j), and 208 of the Act, 47 U.S.C. 154(i), 154(j), and 208, and the authority delegated in sections 0.111, 0.311, and 1.7201.740 of the Commissions rules, 47 C.F.R. 0.111, 0.311, and 1.7201.740, that the Complaint is DISMISSED WITH PREJUDICE.
