FCC DENIES INDECENCY COMPLAINT AGAINST “ANGEL” EPISODE

Washington, D.C.: The Federal Communications Commission today issued a Memorandum Opinion and Order denying a complaint by the Parents Television Council alleging that WBDC Broadcasting, Inc., licensee of Station WBDC(TV), Washington, DC, and other television stations affiliated with the WB Network, aired indecent material during a November 19, 2003 episode of the “Angel” program.

The Commission concluded that the episode was not sufficiently explicit or graphic to be indecent.
