Washington, D.C. - Marcy Greene has been named Assistant Division Chief of the Enforcement Bureau's Telecommunications Consumers Division. Her responsibilities include managing and supervising investigations of potential violations of the Commission's consumer protection rules for common carriers and other companies, as well as other matters.
Most recently an Attorney Advisor in the Enforcement Bureau, Ms. Greene's FCC career also includes serving in the Wireline Competition Bureau. As an Attorney Advisor in that Bureau's Competition Policy Division, she worked on section 271 application reviews, as well as rulemakings in areas such as customer proprietary network information, subscriber list information, and E911 implementation. Before coming to the Commission, Ms. Greene was an Assistant General Counsel for Excel Communications, Inc., and an associate at the firm of Swidler, Berlin, Shereff, Friedman, LLP. She received her B.A from the University of Kansas and her J.D. from the American University, Washington College of Law.
