Washington, D.C. - Elizabeth Yockus Mumaw has been named legal advisor to the Chief of the FCC's Enforcement Bureau.
Ms. Mumaw most recently served as an attorney advisor in the Wireline Competition Bureau's Telecommunications Access Policy Division, where she worked on universal service issues. Ms. Mumaw earlier served as an attorney in the Wireline Competition Bureau's Competition Policy Division, focusing on common carrier matters such as mergers, Section 271 applications, and the Triennial Review. From 1998 to 2000, Ms. Mumaw held the position of associate counsel for MCI WorldCom where she focused on federal law and public policy issues.
Ms. Mumaw received a B.S. in Speech Communication from Frostburg State University and a J.D. from Catholic University's Columbus School of Law with a certificate from the Institute for Communications Law Studies.
