Washington, D.C. - Christopher N. Olsen has been named Deputy Chief of the FCC's Enforcement Bureau.
Mr. Olsen most recently served as Assistant Chief of the Market Disputes Resolution Division of the Enforcement Bureau, helping manage the division's work on formal complaint proceedings and mediations. He joined the Division in September 2000 and was promoted to Assistant Division Chief in 2001. Prior to joining the Commission, Mr. Olsen was a Partner with Howrey Simon Arnold & White in Washington, D.C., specializing in complex litigation. Mr. Olsen received his law degree from the University of Virginia School of Law in 1989 and his undergraduate degree from Dartmouth College in 1986.
As Deputy Chief of the Enforcement Bureau, Mr. Olsen will help oversee the common carrier enforcement activities of the Bureau's Market Disputes Resolution Division, Telecommunications Consumers Division and Investigations and Hearings Division.
