Washington, D.C. --- Maureen F. Del Duca has been named Chief of the FCC Enforcement Bureau's Investigations and Hearings Division. Ms. Del Duca previously served as Deputy Chief in that Division.
Before joining the Commission in October 2001, Ms. Del Duca was a partner at Jenner & Block, practicing in the areas of appellate and regulatory litigation, telecommunications, new media and e-business. She was a supervising attorney for two years in the Appellate Litigation Clinic at Georgetown University Law Center. While there, she litigated and argued criminal, Section 1983, and habeas appeals in the federal courts on behalf of indigent prisoners. She was also a Visiting Fellow at Catholic University's Columbus School of Law and also served as a law clerk to the Honorable Leonard I. Garth, United States Court of Appeals for the Third Circuit.
Ms. Del Duca received a B.A. from Swarthmore College, an M.A. from the University of California, Berkeley, a J.D. from New York University School of Law, and an LLM from Georgetown University Law Center.
