ANNE L. WEISMANN NAMED DEPUTY CHIEF OF ENFORCMENT BUREAU

Anne L. Weismann, a litigator at the Department of Justice, has been named Deputy Chief of the Commission's Enforcement Bureau.

Ms. Weismann will help oversee the common carrier enforcement activities of the Enforcement Bureau's Market Disputes Resolution Division, Telecommunications Consumers Division and Investigations and Hearings Division.

Ms. Weismann has 20 years experience serving as a litigator in the Federal Programs Branch, Civil Division, U.S. Department of Justice. Over the past decade, she served as Assistant Branch Director, where she had supervisory responsibility over banking, housing and government information litigation.

Ms. Weismann received an A.B. from Brown University and a J.D. from the National Law Center, George Washington University.
