I am honored to have been appointed by Chairman Kennard to the Federal-State Joint Board on Universal Service. I look forward to working with my colleagues from this Commission as well as my former colleagues from the State commissions in this new capacity. I am confident that our work on the Joint Board will facilitate the adoption of policies that preserve and advance universal service.
