Commissioner Gloria Tristani announced the following personnel changes: Rick Chessen, Senior Legal Advisor and Legal Advisor on mass media and cable issues, will be resigning his post. Mr. Chessen will be replaced by William J. Friedman in mid-June. Mr. Friedman is currently in private practice in Santa Fe, New Mexico, and previously served as the Agency Director for the New Mexico Organic Commodity Commission and Counsel for the New Mexico Senate Judiciary Committee. Mr. Friedman is a board-certified appellate specialist. He received his B.S. from St. Johns College and his J.D. from the University of New Mexico Law School. Deborah Klein has been appointed Interim Legal Advisor for mass media and cable issues.
