Supreme Court Ruling -- AT&T vs. Iowa Utilities Board

Today's Supreme Court decision, AT&T vs. Iowa Utilities Board, is a victory for consumers. The black cloud of litigation that has delayed competition for so long has been lifted by the Supreme Court. We can now move forward with all deliberate speed.

This is an excellent time to reaffirm our partnership with the states and to work together for the benefit of consumers. I also look forward to working with other stakeholders. Together we can boost competition in all segments of the telecommunications industry and facilitate the deployment of new products and services to the American people.
