CHAIRMAN MICHAEL POWELL ON HIS NOMINATION TO A SECOND TERM
I congratulate my dear friend and colleague, Michael Powell, on President Bush's announcement of his intent to nominate him to a second term as a member of the Federal Communications Commission. Chairman Powell has demonstrated an exceptional grasp of the issues and a strong commitment to prepare this agency for the many challenges ahead. I am delighted at the prospect of his reappointment and wish him all the best.
