	STATEMENT OF FCC CHAIRMAN WILLIAM KENNARD ON ELECTION OF YOSHIO UTSUMI TO BE NEXT ITU SECRETARY GENERAL
	I join others in the United States government in congratulating Mr. Utsumi on his election to be the next Secretary General of the ITU. I look forward to working with him on the many important issues the ITU will face in the next few years. - FCC -
