	Statement of FCC Chairman William E. Kennard Regarding Iowa Utilities Board v. FCC
	There are no clear winners or losers in today’s decision. The court clearly rejected the pricing model of the incumbent local phone companies. But the court did not fully accept the FCC’s pricing principles. We will take immediate steps to minimize any uncertainty created by this decision while continuing to foster competition and consumer choice in local telephone service. - FCC -
