ABERNATHY RESPONDS TO THE DEPARTURE OF |

"During her tenure at the FCC, Commissioner Tristani worked passionately to ensure that all
Americans have access to quality communications services", commented FCC Commissioner
Kathleen Q. Abernathy upon hearing the news of Tristani's departure. "Though I was only able to
serve with her briefly, I deeply respect the quality of her work and the dedication of her and her
staff to pursuing the public interest. I will miss her when she returns to New Mexico, and I wish her
all the best."
