The New York Commission may activate 646 as an all-services area code overlay in Manhattan, but delay, temporarily, implementing ten-digital dialing, until 347 is activated as an all-services area code overlay for 718 in Brooklyn, the Bronx, Queens, and Staten Island, but in any event no later than April 1, 1999. PETITION OF SPRINT TO ESTABLISH PART 69 RATE ELEMENTS TO OFFER SWITCHED ACCESS TRANSPORT FOR LOCAL NUMBER PORTABILITY. Granted the petition of Sprint Local Telephone Companies seeking under section 69.4(g)(1)(ii) of the commission's rules to establish new service rate elements that would allow it to charge rates for the provision of long-term number portability query services on behalf of other carriers. SATCOM SYSTEMS, INC. Grant, with conditions, a request by SatCom Systems, Inc. for special temporary authority to operate up to 500 mobile earth terminals through the Canadian-licensed MSAT-1 satellite.
