Ex Parte Presentations - Table of Docket Numbers with Descriptors

The Commission receives an average of 12,000 ex parte presentations each year. The Office of the Secretary is responsible for preparing public notices listing ex parte presentations in permit-but-disclose proceedings. In response to the public's request for prompt notice of the filing of these presentations, the Office of the Secretary is committed to the issuance of at least two public notices per week. To meet this commitment and expedite the preparation of these notices, the descriptors for each docket number listed in the notices has been omitted.

For the public's convenience and reference, however, the Office of the Secretary has developed the attached Table of Docket Numbers with brief descriptors. This table describes the common or popular name of the dockets that are most frequently listed in the ex parte notices for permit-but-disclose proceedings; the official subject matter is recorded in the docket history file. The docket numbers in the table are grouped by Bureau or Office, in sequential order. This table will be updated as needed and is available from the Office of the Secretary (Room 222), or the Public Service Division (Room 254), 1919 M Street, N.W., Washington, D.C., from 8 a.m. to 5:30 p.m., and from the FCC's Internet web site, as referenced above. For further information, contact Shirley Suggs at (202) 418-0310.
