Cir. 1974). August 12, 1997 FCC 1996 ANNUAL REPORT GOES ON-LINE The FCC's 1996 Annual Report can now be accessed through the Internet. The public can browse and download the report from the World Wide Web. The Report is on the FCC's homepage at: http://www.fcc.gov/annual_report_96.html The online version of the annual report is one of the many ways the FCC helps the public locate Commission information quickly and efficiently. Some of the ways people can use the electronic report include: o There are two different Tables of Contents -- one which represents the Annual Report's actual TOC, and one in "bookmark" format. Bookmark format lets you keep the TOC on the screen while you navigate through the Annual Report. Both Tables of Contents are hot-linked to chapters, pictures and documents which are mentioned in the Annual Report o The thumbnail view lets you view all the pages in the document. From the thumbnail view, you can go directly to selected pages. For example, if you see a graph that you want to examine closely, click on the thumbnail and go directly to that page. Also can zoom in and out to see overview of a page or details of a part of the page. o Within document, there are hot links to the FCC Internet site.
