Friday, December 25 The Federal Communications Commission is closed in observance of the Christmas Holidays. Thursday, January 7 The North American Numbering Council will hold a conference call on bridge number 1-800-724-5055, PIN is "NANC", 1:00 pm - 4:00 pm. Due to limited port space, NANC members and Commission staff will have first priority on the call. Members of the public may join the call as remaining port space permits. Tuesday, January 12 Commissioner Susan Ness will be the breakfast speaker for the European Institute's roundtable on Multimedia and Telecommunications, The Cosmos Club, Washington, DC, 8:30 am. Thursday, January 14 Commissioner Michael Powell will be the keynote speaker at the Developmental Roundtable for Upward Mobility, Capital Hilton, Washington, D.C., 9:45 a.m. Wednesday, January 20 Commissioner Ness will be the keynote speaker at the Federal Communications Commission Bar Association's monthly luncheon, Capitol Hilton Hotel, Washington, DC, noon. Tuesday, February 9 Commissioner Powell will be a panelist at the CTIA Wireless '99 Show, Ernest N. Morial Convention Center, New Orleans, Louisiana, 9:30 am.
