TEMPO Satellite, Inc. File No. 98-SAT-EXT-98 TEMPO Satellite, Inc. has filed an application for extension of its authorization to operate a direct broadcast satellite (DBS) system. TEMPO requests that the Commission confirm TEMPO's compliance with due diligence requirements or, in the alternative, extend its DBS authorization for a period of at least six months following review by the International Bureau, and if required, the full Commission of the applications to transfer control of TEMPO from its parent company, TCI Satellite Entertainment, Inc. to PRIMESTAR, Inc. and to assign the permit for a DBS system from MCI Telecommunications Corp. to PRIMESTAR LHC, Inc. (See File Nos. 91- SAT-TC-97 AND 106-SAT-AL-97). Comments should be submitted no later than April 14, 1998, and replies on or before April 16, 1998. Service copies of all comments should be hand-delivered to all parties.
