GE American Communications, Inc. File No. 75-SAT-MP/ML-98 GE American Communications, Inc. has filed an application for modification of its Satcom SN-3 satellite to permit the satellite to be relocated from its current position at 83ø W.L. to the 79ø W.L. orbital location. This relocation will permit the Satcom SN-3 satellite to provide the C-band capacity at that location. This request is related to the outcome of GE Americom's pending petition for reconsideration of the orbital assignment of GE-5, which GE Americom asks us to assign to 83ø W.L. instead of the previously assigned location of 79ø W.L. If GE Americom's petition for reconsideration is granted, GE-5 will operate from 83ø W.L. and no relocation of Sacom SN-3 will be necessary.
