A waiver of one  xKor more portions of Part 68 does not excuse an applicant from this testing process, and the waiver  xof Section 68.312(k) sought by the Petitioners would allow them to submit their stutter dial tone devices for Part 68 testing, pursuant to the conditions that are contained in this Order. VoiceWaves also asks the Bureau to impose an additional condition requiring that stutter dial tone detection devices not interfere with other registered devices, such as facsimile machines and modems, attached to the same line. SBC's petition for reconsideration asks the Bureau to require any party seeking waiver for a stutter dial tone detection device to submit its device to an impartial testing agency for  {O -certification that the device complies with the conditions imposed in the Alameda Order prior to the Bureau's  {O_ -granting its waiver request.
