July 26, 2000 COMMISSION OBSERVES NEW PROCEDURES FOR ENTRANCE TO EN BANC HEARING ON AMERICAN ONLINE AND TIME WARNER APPLICATIONS FOR TRANSFER OF CONTROL CS DOCKET NO. 00-30 In anticipation of a high level of attendance at the En Banc hearing on America Online, Inc. and Time Warner, Inc. applications for transfer of control (CS Docket No. 00-30), the following procedures will be observed for entrance to the hearing by the general public and the press. All hearing attendees should go directly to the Commission’s Twelfth Street entrance. All other entrances will be closed to hearing attendees. Upon presentation of appropriate identification and sign-in at the 12th Street Lobby, a ticket will be issued. With the exception of panelists and associates, only ticket holders will be permitted to enter the Commission Meeting Room and designated overflow rooms. Beginning at 8:00 a.m., July 27, 2000, one ticket per person will be issued on a first- come, first-served basis. Ticket reservations will not be accepted. Advance tickets obtained through third parties must be exchanged in the 12th Street Lobby. The doors to the Commission Meeting Room and overflow rooms will open at 12:00 noon. The hearing begins at 1:00 p.m. When the Commission Meeting Room has reached its capacity, ticket holders will be directed to the overflow rooms. Nearby overflow rooms for ticket holders will be available and equipped with closed circuit televisions to view the hearing.
