1990 - 2005
United Telephone of the West continues as an operating company
under the Sprint holding company with study area jurisdictions
Nebraska (UTNE) and Wyoming (UTWY). United Telephone of the West
had no changes since 1990. Note: the company is below the filing
threshold and, therefore, does not file ARMIS reports at the company
level (UTWE). It files only the 43-05 at the study-area level (UTNE,
UTWY).
2006
In 2006, following a 2004 merger between
Sprint and Nextel, the Sprint local telephone companies were
spun off to become Embarq Local Operating
Companies. though the company's name did not change.
2007 - 2009
The company had no changes during this
period.
