GTE South, Inc. was an operating company consisting of eight study area jurisdictions: Alabama (GTAL), Georgia (GTGA), Kentucky (GTKY), North Carolina (GTNC), South Carolina (GTSC), Tennessee (GTTN), Virginia (GTVA) and West Virginia (GTWV).
