1990 - 1993



Citizens Telecommunications Company of Idaho did not exist as an operating company.

1994



Citizens Telecommunications Company of Idaho became a new operating company and study area jurisdiction when it acquired the study area Idaho (COID) from GTE on 12/31/1993.

1995 - 1999



Citizens Telecommunications Company of Idaho had no changes during this period.

 

2000



During this period, Citizens purchased study areas and exchanges from a number of ILECs, which required it to reorganize its corporate structure. Citizens Telecommunications Company of Idaho, formerly an operating company/study area, was disaggregated into a separate operating company and study area. The study area continued with the original COSA (CTID) and the operating company was given a new COSA (CTIC).
