911 Certification Webinar

The staff of the FCC’s Public Safety and Homeland Security Bureau will hold a webinar on how the recently adopted rules regarding 911 reliability are likely to apply to small and rural providers and the new certification process. To accommodate as many participants as possible, the webinar will be offered on two separate occasions:

  • Wednesday, August 13, from 2:00-3:00 p.m.
  • Wednesday, September 10, from 2:00-3:00 p.m.

Participants will access the webinar through an Internet webex connection and will be able to submit questions for the presenters during the presentation and, we hope, receive answers in real time. We also encourage participants to submit questions in advance. Participants will need to register online at www.FCC.gov (Webinar Address to be Determined) to access the webinar and will need broadband access on a computer or tablet to participate.
