FCC Chairman Julius Genachowski is seeking part-time and full-time interns for the Washington, DC office. Interns will have the opportunity to work on a wide range of communications and technology issues, including:
- Media: Television, radio, and cable issues;
- Wireline communications regulation;
- Wireless and satellite law;
- Broadband;
- International, spectrum, public safety and homeland security topics.
Interns will assist the Chairman and his legal advisors in a fast-paced environment. They may interact with industry counsel, consumer groups, congressional staff, and agency personnel on a variety of issues.
Summer internships are paid; fall and spring semester internships are unpaid.
Eligibility: Eligibility is restricted to citizens of the United States and a small group* of other nations.

| The selection process is competitive; law students and graduate students with a strong academic record and interest in communications law (experience is preferred but not required) and a commitment to public service are preferred. |
