FCC HF STATIONS
SEASONAL OPERATING FREQUENCY SCHEDULES
Introduction
Scheduling of HF broadcasts can be a complex task. Schedules
need to take account of seasonal propagation changes,
broadcasters attempts to align schedule changes with daylight
savings time, and attempts to avoid interference to and from
other HF broadcasters.
The schedules are coordinated for two seasons; a summer season
running from the last Sunday in March to the last Sunday in
October; and a Winter schedule running from the last Sunday
in October to the last Sunday in March.
Schedules include the following information:
- Frequency in Kilohertz
- Start and Stop Times (UTC time)
- Station Call Sign
- Transmitter Power in Kilowatts
- Azimuth Antenna is Pointed (Degrees from True North)
- Target Zones - Area of Intended Reception - See Section
73.703 of FCC Rules
- Days of the week (1=Sunday)
- Start Date and Stop Date (DDMMYY)
Available Schedules (As of 03/24/11)
