The attached chart identifies a projected deployment schedule with Phase I deployment in September, Phase II in October, and Phase III in November of this year. The ULS provides the capability of electronic filing for all licensing needs, including: new applications, amendments to pending applications, renewals, modifications, administrative updates, required notifications, requests for cancellations, withdrawals, duplicates, and exten- sions of time to construct. The ULS offers a link to Antenna Structure Registration (ASR) filing. Applicants and the general public can also perform searches of Wireless Telecommunications Bureau (WTB) application and licensing information and the ASR system. The ULS can be readily accessed via the Internet or via direct dial-up to the Commission Wide Area Network (WAN). Frequency coordinators will electronically file ULS Land Mobile applications where frequency coordination or their licensing services are utilized. However, call signs must be registered to the correct Taxpayer Identification Number (TIN) before an application can be submitted. The Commission urges Land Mobile licensees to register their TIN's and associated call signs prior to ULS deployment. To register your TIN, click on the "TIN/Call Sign Registration" button on the ULS homepage, then follow the prompts. If you have registered your TIN, whether manually or electronically, you can confirm your registration, as well as update your information, via the ULS. For assistance, contact the FCC Technical Support Hotline at (202) 414-1250. WTB will provide further guidance on deployment of these radio services to ULS in future Public Notices. The most current information is also available from the ULS homepage.
