Washington, D.C. 20554 DA 99-1327 Report No. WT 99-20 WIRELESS TELECOM ACTION August 11, 1999 WESTERN PENNSYLVANIA (REGION 36) PUBLIC SAFETY PLANNING COMMITTEE ANNOUNCES MEETING (PR DOCKET NO. 92-274) By this notice, the Western Pennsylvania (Region 36) Public Safety Planning Committee announces a meeting to discuss: a) approval of the revised Region 28 Plan; b) the possible opening of a filing window for Region 36; and c) any other business which needs to be considered by the Committee The meeting will be held on Wednesday, September 8, 1999 at 1:30 p.m. E.S.T., at the Pennsylvania State Police West Academy in Greensburg, Pennsylvania. In accordance with the Public Safety National Plan, each region is responsible for planning its use of public safety radio frequency spectrum in the 821-824/866-869 MHz bands. The Region 36 Planning Committee is responsible for planning public safety radio frequency spectrum usage in the Western Pennsylvania area covering the 39 counties West of the Susquehanna River.
