  ANNOUNCEMENT OF ACCEPTANCE OF A PHASE I SOLE APPLICATION AND
             TENTATIVE SELECTEE FOR UNSERVED AREAS

The following sole application is accepted for filing and this applicant is named tentative selectee. 
This does not mean that the application is ready for grant and, on further review, additional
information may be requested or the application may later be found defective.

Each applicant must submit the items listed below to the Office of the Secretary, Federal
Communications Commission, Washington, DC.

    1. The paper original of the application with two (2) full-sized (1:500,000) maps must be
filed within seven (7) days of the date of this Public Notice.  See Section 22.929 of the Rules. The
application must be enclosed in stiff covers and fastened securely along the left edge without
exposed sharp edges.  There will be no filing fee required because the fee was paid when the
application was filed.

    2.  Any Section 1.65 amendments within 30 days of the date of this Public Notice.  See
Section 22.129(d) and 1.4 of the Rules.

Petitions to Deny against the listed tentative selectees must be filed by August 31, 1997.  See 
Section 22.130(a)(4) of the Commission's Rules.
