The Public Forum will be held on June 30, 1997 in the Commission Meeting Room, Suite 856, 1919 M Street, N.W., Washington, D.C. from 1:00 p.m. to 4:00 p.m. No pre-registration is required to attend the Public Forum; however, only one representative per firm will be allowed to attend the Public Forum in the Commission Meeting Room. Seating will be available on a first-come, first-served basis. Additional seating will be provided in overflow rooms where the Public Forum will be broadcast on closed-circuit television. Directions to the overflow rooms will be provided outside the Commission Meeting Room. Overall, the theme of the forum will be "How Can The Commission Best Ensure That Broadband PCS C And F Block Licenses Are Used To Provide Service To The Public?" There will be two separate panels consisting of representatives from the wireless industry and the financial community. Time will be reserved for audience members to make comment and ask questions. The first panel will address the general question of whether the Commission should consider modification of the payment rules for broadband PCS C and F block installment debt licensees. The second panel will address specific proposals for alternative financing arrangements and debt discounting.
