                        ELECTRONIC GENERATION OF
                  LAND MOBILE REFERENCE LICENSES BEGINS
                                    
                                    
Effective immediately, the complete Land Mobile license file, which includes
Auxiliary Broadcast licenses (Remote and Low Power), is available on
Internet via the FCC's ftp site.  

Daily updates will be posted on a five workday cycle (i.e. Monday's data
will be overlayed by the following Monday, Tuesday's data will be
overlayed by the following Tuesday, etc.).

Information can be retrieved from the FCC's ftp site using the following
procedure:
Access:         anonymous ftp fcc.gov
Directory:      pub/bureaus/wireless/lm_license
Files:               mon.zip, tues.zip, wed.zip, thu.zip, fri.zip
