We have before us a Petition for Reconsideration (Petition), filed by Laurence J. Feinberg (Feinberg) on November 18, 1998. Feinberg requests that we reconsider the cancellation of Specialized Mobile Radio station WNWB345, licensed to Mr. Harold Pick (Pick). The license was cancelled on October 19, 1998 as part of the implementation of the Goodman/Chan Reconsideration Order. Feinberg asserts that, pursuant to section 1.106(b)(1) of the Commission's rules, he has standing to file the Petition because there is currently pending before the Commission an application for the assignment of the license from the trustee for Pick's bankruptcy estate to Feinberg. Feinberg argues that the license should not have been cancelled and should be reinstated, because it was timely constructed and does not involve the matters at issue in the Goodman/Chan Reconsideration Order. 2. Our records indicate that the Licensing and Technical Analysis Branch of the Commercial Wireless Division reinstated the license on January 22, 1999. We therefore dismiss the Petition as moot. 3. Accordingly, IT IS ORDERED that, pursuant to section 4(i) of the Communications Act of 1934, as amended, 47 U.S.C. 154(i), and sections 0.331 and 1.106 of the Commission's rules, 47 C.F.R. 0.331, 1.106, the Petition for Reconsideration filed by Laurence J. Feinberg on November 18, 1998, IS HEREBY DISMISSED AS MOOT. FEDERAL COMMUNICATIONS COMMISSION Paul D'Ari Chief, Policy and Rules Branch Commercial Wireless Division Wireless Telecommunications Bureau
