On July 2, 1997, Metrocall USA Inc. (Metrocall), a paging licensee with regional exclusivity in the Northeastern and MidAtlantic areas on the 929.3875 MHz frequency, filed an application which proposed to modify its system by adding a site in Allentown, Pennsylvania on the 929.3875 MHz frequency. 2. In the PCP Exclusivity Order, the Commission determined that all applications for paging licenses (other than applications on nationwide and shared channels) filed after July 31, 1996 would be dismissed. Because Metrocall filed its application nearly one year after the "paging freeze" was established, we hereby dismiss Metrocall's application. 3. Accordingly, IT IS ORDERED that pursuant to authority delegated by section 4(i) of the Communications Act, as amended, 47 C.F.R.  154(i), and by section 0.331,of the Commission's rules, 47 C.F.R.  0.331, the application filed by Metrocall USA, Inc. on July 2, 1997, IS DISMISSED.
