                             ORDER

By the Deputy Chief, Wireless Telecommunications Bureau:

     1.  The Wireless Telecommunications Bureau (Bureau) has before it a Petition for Reconsideration
filed June 23, 1999 by Veracon Corp. (Veracon).  Veracon requests reconsideration of a May 26, 1999
Order by the Bureau's Public Safety and Private Wireless Division denying Veracon's Emergency Request
to Hold Processing of Assignment Application Temporarily in Abeyance.

     2.  We find that Veracon's request seeks reconsideration of an interlocutory ruling.  Pursuant to
Section 1.106 of the Commission's Rules, reconsideration of such action will not be entertained under the
circumstances presented here.

     3.  Accordingly, IT IS ORDERED that the Petition for Reconsideration filed June 23, 1999 by
Veracon Corp. IS DISMISSED.

     4.  This action is taken under delegated authority pursuant to Sections 0.131 and 0.331 of the
Commission's Rules, 47 C.F.R.  0.131, 0.331.
