By the Deputy Chief, Policy and Rules Branch, Commercial Wireless Division, Wireless
Telecommunications Bureau:  

     1.   On July 14, 1995, Page Telecommunications, Inc. (PTI) filed a Petition to Institute Show
Cause Proceeding (Petition) to revoke the above station authorizations of American Paging, Inc. (API).  For
the reasons discussed below, we dismiss the Petition as moot.    
      
     2.   Having reviewed the Commission's records, we have determined that the licenses for the
above stations were cancelled on March 12, 1998, pursuant to API's request.  Accordingly, we dismiss the
Petition as moot.

     3.   Accordingly, IT IS ORDERED that pursuant to authority delegated by sections 4(i) of the
Communications Act, as amended, 47 U.S.C.  154(i), and by section 0.331 of the Commission's rules, 47
C.F.R.  0.331 the Petition to Institute Show Cause Proceeding filed by Page Telecommunications, Inc. on
July 14, 1995, IS DISMISSED as moot.
