This Order grants a petition for reconsideration (Petition), filed by Ameritech Mobile Services, Inc. (AMSI) on January 13, 1999, of an action taken by the Commercial Wireless Division (Division) of the Wireless Telecommunications Bureau. 2. On October 16, 1995, AMSI filed the above-captioned application for authority to construct and operate a base station on the frequency 931.3375 MHz at Boardman, Ohio. On May 7, 1995, AMSI filed a minor amendment to the application to demonstrate interference-free operation with respect to a protected co-channel station and, thus, eliminate any possible mutual exclusivity with other applications. The Narrowband Branch, however, never acted upon this minor amendment. Because the minor amendment was inadvertently never considered, the Division dismissed AMSI's application on December 14, 1998, on the basis that it was mutually exclusive with one or more other pending paging applications. 3. On January 13, 1999, AMSI filed the instant Petition seeking reconsideration of the dismissal of its application. Because the minor amendment eliminates the possibility that the subject application is mutually exclusive with any other application, we hereby grant AMSI's Petition. 4. Accordingly, IT IS ORDERED that, pursuant to sections 4(i) and 405 of the Communications Act, as amended, 47 U.S.C. 154(i), (405), and by sections 0.331 and 1.106 of the Commission's rules, 47 C.F.R. 0.331, 1.106, the petition for reconsideration filed by Ameritech Mobile Services, Inc. on January 13, 1999 IS GRANTED.
