This Order dismisses as moot the Emergency Petition for a Cease and Desist Order (Petition) filed by Range Corporation (Range) against the above-captioned applications of Superior Technologies, Inc. d/b/a Superior Spectrum (Superior). 2. On April 14, 1997, Superior filed the above-captioned applications. In response, Range filed its Petition on March 10, 1998, alleging that Superior was operating the subject stations without proper authority. After the Petition was filed, however, the Licensing and Technical Analysis Branch of the Commercial Wireless Division, on its own motion, dismissed the applications. Accordingly, we dismiss the Petition as moot. 3. Accordingly, IT IS ORDERED that, pursuant to authority delegated by Section 4(i) of the Communications Act, as amended, 47 U.S.C  154(i), and by Section 0.331 of the Commission's rules, 47 C.F.R  0.331, the Emergency Petition for a Cease and Desist Order filed by Superior on March 10, 1998 IS DISMISSED as moot.
