On October 28, 1998, Electronic Engineering Company (EEC) filed a petition for reconsideration (Petition) of the dismissal of the captioned application by the Licensing and Technical Analysis Branch (Branch) of the Commercial Wireless Division. For the reasons discussed below, we deny the Petition. 2. In support of its argument that the Branch erroneously dismissed the captioned application, EEC states that it submitted the application to the Personal Communications Industry Association (PCIA) for frequency coordination. A review of the application filed by PCIA on behalf of EEC reveals that the application was filed without coordination because the proposed sites did not satisfy the separation requirements of section 90.495(b) of the Commission's rules. As a result, we find that the Branch properly dismissed EEC's application to operate on 929.7625 MHz based on its failure to satisfy the frequency coordination requirement of section 90.175(f) of the Commission's rules. In addition, the Commission determined that all applications for paging licenses (other than applications on nationwide and shared channels) filed after July 31, 1996, would be dismissed. EEC filed its application on August 8, 1996, well after the July 31, 1996 deadline. Accordingly, we deny the Petition. 3. Accordingly, IT IS ORDERED that pursuant to authority delegated by sections 4(i) and 405 of the Communications Act, as amended, 47 U.S.C. 154(i), 405, and by sections 0.331 and 1.106 of the Commission's rules, 47 C.F.R. 0.331, 1.106, the petition for reconsideration filed by Electronic Engineering Company on October 28, 1998, IS DENIED.
