                    ORDER ON RECONSIDERATION

By the Chief, Policy and Rules Branch, Commercial Wireless Division, Wireless Telecommunications Bureau:

     1.   This Order denies a Petition for Reconsideration (Petition), filed on September 30, 1998, of
an action taken by the Commercial Wireless Division's Licensing and Technical Analysis Branch (Branch). 
In its Petition, Paging Dimensions, Inc. (PDI) requests reconsideration of the decision denying the request for
waiver and dismissing the seven above-captioned applications.  For the reasons discussed below, we deny the
Petition.

     2.   PDI filed its Waiver Request (Waiver), along with applications for seven new paging facilities
in the Los Angeles MTA, on April 24, 1998.  PDI requested a waiver of the provision of the Second Report
and Order in WT Docket No. 96-18 and PP Docket No. 93-253, FCC 97-59, in which the Commission
suspended processing of applications for new paging facilities.  On August 31, 1998, the Branch, pursuant
to Section 22.119 of the Commission's rules, denied the Waiver having determined that it was not in the public
interest.  Further, the Branch noted that PDI failed to present unique or unusual factual circumstances sufficient
to justify grant of its waiver request.

     3.   PDI presents no arguments in its Petition that would lead us to change the Branch's decision. 
We therefore affirm the Branch's decision for the reasons stated therein.  

     4.   Accordingly, IT IS ORDERED that, pursuant to sections 4(i) and 405, of the Communications
Act of 1934, as amended, 47 U.S.C.  154(i) and 405, and sections 0.331 and 1.106 of the Commission's
Rules, 47 C.F.R.  0.331 and 1.106, the Petition for Reconsideration IS DENIED.
