This Order grants a petition (Petition), filed by Strategic Products Corporation (Strategic), the predecessor-in-interest of Metrocall USA, Inc., seeking reconsideration of the cancellation of the above- captioned authorization by the Commercial Wireless Division's Narrowband Branch (Narrowband Branch). 2. Strategic applied for an authorization to construct a base station at Lake Havasu City, Arizona, stating a frequency preference for 931.5375 MHz. In its Petition, Strategic states that, by Public Notice, dated November 16, 1994, the Narrowband Branch announced the grant of its application on the 931.2125 MHz frequency. Strategic failed to construct its station and states in its Petition that, by Public Notice dated March 27, 1996, the Narrowband Branch terminated its authorization. On April 25, 1996, Strategic filed the instant Petition seeking reconsideration of the termination. In response to the Petition, the Narrowband Branch reinstated the application and returned it to pending status, because it had been determined that all co-channel licensees in the area are commonly controlled. The Petition, however, was not formally granted. Because the Petition technically remains pending, we formally grant the Petition by this Order. 3. ACCORDINGLY, IT IS ORDERED that, pursuant to Sections 4(i) and 405 of the Communications Act, as amended, 47 U.S.C 154(i), 405, and by Sections 0.331 and 1.106 of the Commission's rules, 47 C.F.R 0.331, 1.106, the petition for reconsideration filed by Strategic on April 25, 1996, in the above-captioned proceeding IS GRANTED.
