This Order dismisses three petitions-to-deny certain license applications and 17 petitions for reconsideration of actions taken by the Commercial Wireless Division's Narrowband Branch (Petitions). These petitions are listed in Attachments A, B, and C. For the reasons discussed below, we dismiss these Petitions as moot. 2. Attachment A of this Order lists 12 petitions for reconsideration. In their license applications, the petitioners requested specific frequencies on the 931 MHz band. Those frequencies, however, were not available and the Narrowband Branch granted authorizations for other frequencies on the 931 MHz band. The petitioners seek reconsideration of the grants and ask for the frequencies specifically requested in their applications. After the Petitions were filed, however, the license grants were cancelled. Accordingly, we dismiss the Petitions listed in Attachment A as moot. 3. Attachment B lists five petitions for reconsideration. In their license applications, the petitioners requested specific frequencies on the 931 MHz band. The Narrowband Branch, however, granted authorizations for those frequencies on the 931 MHz band to other applicants. The petitioners contend that as an entity operating a wide-area system, they have a preference to their requested frequency over an entity seeking to establish a new system and, as a result, seek reconsideration of the grants. After the Petitions were filed, however, the license grants were cancelled. Accordingly, we dismiss the Petitions listed in Attachment B as moot. 4. Attachment C lists three petitions to deny. Two of the petitioners claim that grant of the subject applications will cause harmful interference to their proposed or authorized facilities. One of the petitioners seeks to deny an application because the applicant sought a preference for the specific frequency on the 931 MHz band that the petitioner wants reserved for assignment to its system network. After the Petitions were filed, however, the Narrowband Branch, on its own motion, dismissed the applications. Accordingly, we dismiss the Petitions listed in Attachment C as moot. 5. Accordingly, IT IS ORDERED, that, pursuant to authority delegated by Sections 4(i), 309(d), and 405 of the Communications Act, as amended, 47 U.S.C 154(i), 309(d), and 405, and by Sections 0.331, 1.106, and 22.130 of the Commission's rules, 47 C.F.R 0.331, 1.106, and 22.130, the petitions for reconsideration listed on Attachments A and B, and the petitions to deny listed in Attachment C of this Order ARE DISMISSED as moot.
